Construction update: Deer Valley Medical Center

  NewsEditor      Medical center updates

The construction project at HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center is well on its way. We’re thrilled to be expanding the campus to allow us to invest in key services, create opportunities for future growth and improve access for patients and team members.

Phase One of the project, the expansion of our support services building, is going well. Phase Two, the expansion of our surgical and lab areas, began earlier this month. Preparations for Phase Three, construction of Pavilion 3, will begin on Monday, Oct. 30.

Phase two and three key dates and campus impact:

  • Oct. 18
    • Construction work: Area behind Pavilion Two was fenced off to prepare for the surgery and lab expansion.
    • Impact: Team members and helicopter pad services still have the same access from the back entrance into the hospital.
  • Monday, Oct. 30
    • Construction work: Physician parking next to MOB and select front entrance areas will be fenced. See images below
    • Impact: Reserved physician parking will be available on Level 3 of the parking garage, with additional spots available. Front entrances will not be impacted by the fencing.

The red line around the green space shows where the fence will be placed on Monday, Oct. 30. Three ADA handicap parking spaces and 17 covered parking spaces will be affected.
