HonorHealth is excited to announce the expansion of our robotic surgery program to Greenbaum Surgical Specialty Hospital. Located on the HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center campus, the surgical experts at Greenbaum Surgical Specialty Hospital specialize in all types of procedures including total joint replacements, complex vascular and thoracic surgery, spine surgery trauma care and complex neurosurgery.

Earlier this month, the team completed their first procedures using the new robotic technology.

“This investment represents the continued evolution of surgery,” says Donna Sells, VP, hospital administrator, HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center. “It enables us to provide our patients with minimally invasive, robotic-assisted surgical options, helping them to heal much faster with minimal scarring. We are thrilled to now offer this technology at Greenbaum Surgical Specialty Hospital.”

While robotic surgery is already available at most of HonorHealth’s medical centers for multiple specialties (orthopedics, general surgery, thoracic surgery, urology and gynecologic surgery), the expansion of the program and equipment furthers HonorHealth’s commitment to offering high-quality care using leading-edge technologies with the goal of advancing care.
