HonorHealth update

Responsible healthcare development in the northeast Valley

  NewsEditor      HonorHealth leadership update

As we stated when we acquired the State Land in North Scottsdale last winter, HonorHealth has been very interested in ensuring the responsible development of healthcare capacity in the northeast Valley, especially where oversaturation would place undue stress on an already short supply of physicians, providers and staff, at all levels of the healthcare ecosystem.

As you may have heard, Banner Health has filed a pre-application with the City of Scottsdale to build a hospital and related medical uses on approximately 48 acres at the southwest corner of the Loop 101 and Hayden Road.  The land is not currently zoned for healthcare use, and a process will take place within the Scottsdale City Government to determine if, and to what extent, to approve the project scope and rezoning request.

We will keep our Medical Staff members informed, as we partner with you to serve the health and well-being of our entire community, as we have for more than 60 years.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you’d like to discuss further.
