“I use .diagm because it is super useful.  It will link all entered diagnoses for today’s visit and any orders associated.  It also places a wild card *** below each bolded diagnosis for documentation”, says Dr. Nelson.

You can use it for HPI or for the A/P portion of a note.  An example is below:
