HonorHealth has implemented a new point-of-care high-sensitivity troponin test for patients with suspected acute coronary syndrome. This upgrade improves myocardial infarction (MI) diagnostic accuracy and supports timely treatment decisions.

The FDA-approved Abbott high-sensitivity troponin cartridge offers higher sensitivity and precision compared to conventional point-of-care troponin testing. Manufacturers are discontinuing support for conventional troponin machines as part of this transition.
