Nominations now open: 2025 WPLC Trailblazer Awards
Do you know a woman physician transforming healthcare in our community? The Women Physician Leadership Council (WPLC) is excited to announce that nominations are now open for the 2025 Trailblazer Awards, celebrating those who inspire colleagues, improve patient care and demonstrate how collaboration and expertise build the trust that’s at the core of everything we do.
What makes a trailblazer?
A trailblazer is more than an excellent physician. She sees challenges as opportunities, brings fresh perspectives to patient care and lifts others along the way. These physicians go above and beyond their clinical responsibilities to lead meaningful initiatives and champion change. While they may not hold formal leadership titles, they lead through action and impact.
The WPLC seeks nominations for HonorHealth-affiliated female physicians who embody one or more of the ICARE values:
- Innovation: Embracing change, staying creative and continually improving patient care.
- Collaboration: Building trust and partnering across boundaries to drive excellent outcomes.
- Accountability: Demonstrating integrity, excellence and stewardship in all patient interactions.
- Respect: Treating colleagues and patients with dignity and professionalism.
- Empathy: Seeking first to understand others in order to best meet their needs.
