The oral antiviral TPOXX (tecovirimat) is available under an expanded access, Investigational New Drug protocol for the treatment of acute Monkeypox infection. Under this protocol, it is not available in pharmacies. HonorHealth has partnered with the Maricopa County Department of Public Health to stage tecovirimat treatment to meet the needs of our community.

If you have a patient who may be a candidate for TPOXX therapy and would like to refer them, use referral RF253 in Epic. HonorHealth will dispense the medication directly to the patient who meet eligibility criteria.
