Join HonorHealth’s wellness walk for colon cancer awareness

Promote colon cancer awareness and encourage screening by joining HonorHealth’s free community wellness walk from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 22 at the Scottsdale Greenbelt near Mountain View Medical Plaza.

Led by HonorHealth gastroenterologist, Deepa Shah, MD, this event will emphasize the importance of early detection and prevention of colorectal cancer through regular screenings. This is an excellent opportunity for both you and your patients to learn more about maintaining colon health at any age.

  • Time/date: 8:30 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 22.
  • Location: Mountain View Medical Plaza 9700 N. 91st St., Scottsdale, AZ 85258 (front parking lot).
  • Format: Outdoor, in-person event.
  • Cost: Free.

Program

  • 15-minute talk by Dr. Shah on colon cancer screening and colorectal health.
  • 45-minute walk along the Scottsdale Greenbelt.
  • Light refreshments provided.

Attendees will also learn about HonorHealth’s gastroenterology programs, urgent care services and partnership with Blue Zones.
