• Perioperative-savvy NPs: The clinic ensures a patient’s surgery will happen and will happen smoothly. They look out for any issues that could come up on surgery day and ensure patients are fully ready for surgery both mentally and physically. All the nurse practitioners have experience in perioperative care and can quickly communicate with anesthesia, pre-admission testing (PAT) and perioperative staff.
• Comprehensive pre-surgical optimization: The clinic offers a full range of services to prepare your patients. On-site EKG and laboratory services are available. Specialized education covers DVT prevention, pneumonia prevention, smoking and vaping cessation, cannabis cessation, diabetes optimization and perioperative bathing instructions. Free Hibiclens (CHG) samples are provided when available.

Seamless integration

The clinic directly communicates with your office via fax with results on whether the patient is optimized or needs further consultation. The clinic also refers off-site chest X-rays to SMIL or SimonMed.

• Referrals: Fax a patient demographic form, insurance information and your pre-op request form to 480-882-5025. The clinic will then call the patient to schedule and follow up with your office via fax with the results.
