We can even help if your patient already has a primary care provider or if their surgery is not scheduled at HonorHealth. Our clinic specializes in preop evaluation and works in tandem with the HonorHealth Pre-admission Testing (PAT) Department to ensure the patient is ready and optimized for surgery.

What we provide:

• Detailed medication instructions
• Bathing instructions (when applicable)
• DVT prevention
• Pneumonia prevention education
• Hibiclens (CHG/Chorhexidine) samples to assist in infection prevention with perioperative bathing recommendations

HonorHealth Pre-Surgical Evaluation Clinic is located at 8405 N. Pima Center Parkway, Suite 202 in Scottsdale! Our hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Who we see:

• Any preoperative patients scheduled for surgery (HonorHealth scheduled surgeries and non-HonorHealth scheduled surgeries).

Services we offer:

• Pre-surgical evaluation including preoperative history and physical with medical optimization
• EKG
• Laboratory services
• We refer off-site for chest X-rays to SMIL

How do I schedule a patient?

• Please call or fax your clearance request form to our office to provide us with:
  • Patient name, DOB, date of surgery, type of surgery and surgeon name.
• We will call the patient to schedule and follow-up with your office via fax with results on if the patient is optimized or needs further consultation.
