Honor a provider for advancing philanthropy at HonorHealth
Nominations for the Foundation’s Advancing Philanthropy Physician Awards open on Thursday, Aug. 1.
Now in its third year, the program honors current or retired HonorHealth Medical Staff physicians who have nurtured our culture of philanthropy through their leadership, advocacy, volunteerism and/or personal giving. Any team member can nominate a physician – self-nominations are also encouraged.
“We are delighted to recognize the physicians whose dedication includes meeting with prospective donors, attending Foundation events, referring grateful patients to the Foundation, helping us express appreciation for impactful gifts or making a donation themselves,” explains Heather Walton, VP, of physician relations for the HonorHealth Foundation. “Last year’s honorees were incredibly deserving for the diverse ways they show their support. We can’t wait to see who is nominated this year!”
Last year, three outstanding physicians received recognition and a stunning sculptural award for their support through leadership, advocacy, volunteerism and/or personal giving:
- Rahul Doshi, MD, FHRS, FACE, chief complex arrhythmia management, HonorHealth Heart Care
- Tiffany Pankow, MD, VP, chief of caregiving wellness and patient experience at HonorHealth
- Frederick Marciano, MD, PhD, FAANS, director of neurosciences and chairman of neurological surgery at HonorHealth
What’s next: Nominations open Thursday, Aug. 1 and are due on Saturday, Aug. 31. Winners will be announced later this year and honored personally, and receive recognition at the 2025 Honor Ball.
