Construction begins at HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center
The north Phoenix community is growing and so is HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center. Taking into consideration the needs of our patients and team members, HonorHealth is excited to announce the campus is undergoing a large expansion over the next two years.
“We’re thrilled about this project because it will allow us to invest in key services, create opportunities for future growth and improve access for our patients and team,” says Matt Morgan, hospital administrator, HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center.
The project will include:
- Two new operating rooms and two additional shelled areas to allow for future growth
- Renovation and expansion of the Sterile Processing Department
- A new one-story support services building with nearly 23,000 square-feet of space, a new loading dock and a tunnel for easier and more efficient service delivery
- Expansion and renovation of key areas such as food services, lab, pharmacy and cafeteria
- Addition of a new four-story building with 166,000 square-feet of space, and 34 new inpatient beds with room for future inpatient bed capacity
The project will be completed in three phases, with some overlap during those phases. Learn more about phase 1, which kicked off earlier this month.
