Bingo and buttons: Highlights from the Networking Social

Emma Breck      HonorHealth Update,  Medical Staff members

More than 200 physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) gathered at the Royal Palms Resort on Sept. 19 for an evening of connection and camaraderie. Surrounded by Spanish colonial architecture, soft lantern light and acoustic guitar, colleagues enjoyed conversation over a menu inspired by Spain’s culinary traditions.

Networking bingo brings specialties together

The highlight of the evening was networking bingo, designed to spark new introductions across specialties. With specialty buttons, fill-in-the-blank icebreaker badges and bingo cards, attendees were challenged to collect signatures from eight different specialties.

The game encouraged many to step outside their usual circles and connect with peers from across the HonorHealth system.

Tamara Djurisic, MD, an HonorHealth family medicine physician, won the networking bingo through a random drawing, earning a one-night stay at the Royal Palms Resort plus a staycation gift basket filled with wine, snacks, candles and other goodies.
