Aetna insurance plan changes – effective Jan. 1, 2026
Effective Jan. 1, 2026, there are two important changes to Aetna insurance plans. First, Aetna has made the decision to remove HonorHealth providers from the Aetna Medicare Prime Network. Second, Aetna will no longer offer marketplace/exchange plans, including the Banner | Aetna marketplace plan that HonorHealth currently participates in.
This impacts the Aetna Medicare Prime Network and the marketplace/exchange plan only. HonorHealth will continue to be in-network with Aetna commercial and all other Medicare Advantage plans and networks, including:
- Aetna Medicare Eagle® PPO
- Aetna Medicare Elite PPO
- Aetna Medicare Signature PPO
- Aetna Medicare Signature HMO
- Aetna Medicare Signature Extra HMO
- Aetna Medicare Value Care PPO
Additionally, HonorHealth facilities will remain in-network with the Aetna Medicare Prime Network.
Key details regarding these upcoming changes
