HonorHealth update

Less searching, more caring: Introducing Elsevier

  Emma Breck      HonorHealth Update

At HonorHealth, our mission goes far beyond treating illness — it’s also about creating a trustworthy and personal connection with our patients.

On Tuesday, Aug. 19, we will be integrating Elsevier’s Care Planning and PatientPass into our Epic platform across HonorHealth to enhance collaboration across our teams and create deeper connections with our patients through consistent patient education and care planning.

This integration reflects our commitment to clinical excellence, patient engagement and digital transformation — pillars of our HonorStrategy that drive every decision we make.

Some of the benefits of this new patient education solution:

  • Physicians, nurses and educators will have access to curated, standardized resources directly within their workflows — saving time, ensuring compliance and strengthening the quality of patient teaching.
  • With clear, consistent education materials available at every stage of their care journey, patients will feel more informed, more empowered and more in control to take the next step.

With Elsevier’s education platforms incorporated into Epic, our clinical teams will have faster access to trusted information, better documentation tools and greater alignment across the patient’s health journey. When patients leave feeling educated, confident and supported, it’s a win for everyone.

We’ll be sharing more information about this new resource, including training information, in future communications. Questions? Reach out to Jaimie Pittman.
