Important news: HonorHealth and ASU collaborate for the future of medical education
On Wednesday, Oct. 9, HonorHealth announced that an agreement was finalized with Arizona State University (ASU) in which HonorHealth will be the primary clinical affiliate for the new ASU School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering.
This innovative partnership will help develop a unique, nationally recognized medical education program, designed to attract and retain outstanding students, residents and faculty.

ASU’s School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering is a central component of ASU Health. The first class of approximately 35 students is anticipated to begin in the 2026-27 academic year. Priya Radhakrishnan, MD, will serve as the Vice Dean for Clinical Affairs. She will also continue to serve in her role as HonorHealth’s Chief Academic Officer.
ASU medical school students will be exposed to leading-edge clinical and research opportunities, with rotations in our hospitals throughout Phoenix, Scottsdale and surrounding communities.
We also expect this collaboration to further enhance our recruitment and retention efforts for physicians and other members of the healthcare workforce, ensuring HonorHealth will have a growing pipeline of talent to serve our growing community.
