What you need to know: HonorHealth policy prohibits team members and clinicians from accessing and subscribing to external website programs while at work that have not been approved by our Information Security (InfoSec) team.

• This includes programs that use automated artificial intelligence (AI) functionality, such as Read.AI, which may not be accessed without InfoSec approval.

Why it matters: It’s important to take precautions with these types of programs, as they typically collect and store information in non-secure formats. Problems can arise when referencing protected health information. As a healthcare system, material that is sensitive in nature should not be shared outside of our approved online systems.
