President’s Award for Lifetime Achievement: This award honors a senior physician who has been on the Medical Staff at least 15 years and is recognized for clinical excellence, excellent patient communication, compassion, leadership, support of the organization, and serves as a role model and mentor for others.

Other criteria include being highly esteemed by colleagues and co-workers; being respectful and responsive to patient preferences, needs and values; and fostering an environment of collaboration, collegiality and teamwork.
