HonorHealth update

Women’s Heart Health shared group medical visits

  NewsEditor      HonorHealth Medical Group,  marketing

The HonorHealth Women’s Heart Health Program is now offering shared group medical visits. These sessions will encourage participants with similar health concerns to ask questions, and share stories and experiences with each other and their care team.

An regular appointment with a care provider typically lasts 15 to 30 minutes. A group visit provides a more in-depth experience, as it takes place in one session, over a two-hour period. During the group visit, patients will hear from healthcare experts, and also have an opportunity for one-on-one time for individualized care.

Space is limited. For more information on how to refer a patient, please call 480-323-4973.

Now open for registration: Exercise prescription

This shared group medical visit will feature a cardiologist, cardiology nurse practitioner and exercise physiologist. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the symptoms and risk factors for heart disease, benefits of exercise for your heart, heart healthy nutrition, stress management and more. The goal is to equip patients with a personalized exercise program and resources to help support a heart healthy life.
