Behavioral health services are now available at all HonorHealth primary care offices
Since September, we have worked closely with evolvedMD to expand our behavioral health services, and we’re excited to announce that these services are now available at all HonorHealth primary care locations.
This innovative collaboration with evolvedMD signals a reimagining of what modern primary care entails. This unique approach not only sees therapists meeting patients where they are (in-person or virtually), but also includes wraparound services in the form of care coordination to help manage barriers to care, such as social determinants of health.
Please note: Before an existing patient can meet with a behavioral health specialist, they will need to contact their primary care provider for more information.
“Addressing mental health has never been more important or challenging than it is right now,” says Tiffany Pankow, MD, vice president, chief of caregiver wellness and patient experience. “COVID-19 has exacerbated many behavioral health problems and has highlighted the need to focus on not just the physical health of patients, but their mental health as well. Since mental and physical health are interdependent, our primary care providers have always been future focused on how best to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care for both.”
