Dr. Waldrop is originally from Mississippi and earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2003. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and subsequently practiced as a hospitalist in Mississippi and Arizona for several years.

Dr. Waldrop has always had a special interest in hospice and palliative care, recognizing the important role that palliative care plays in supporting and improving the quality of life for patients and their families. He completed his Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at HonorHealth and now serves as the Medical Director of Palliative Medicine at HonorHealth Deer Valley Medical Center.

In his free time, he enjoys singing, songwriting, home improvement projects, and spending time with his family.
